Jerusalem June 12 - 30 2008

I have been to Jerusalem many times, but never have I seen it like now. Cranes cover the skyline, looking more like Shanghai or Dubai then the sleepy town of Jerusalem I have been used to, steeped in history, but not so much going on today. Well now Jerusalem has arrived. The entire area between the old city and the downtown of the new city has been rebuilt, with a giant pedestrian mall leading to two together, filled with shops and cafes. The bar scene has also moved to this area, with many many new bars and restaurants.
